My drawings and paintings are about structure.

They are nearly all black and white, reducing colour to its simplest. My preferred medium is charcoal, oil paint or a mixture, usually on paper.

I return to subjects repeatedly, fascinated by dramatic architecture and the human form. Because of this, themes have occurred in my work over the years.
